Jane Denton is a qualified Occupational Therapist who is passionate about assisting people to be independent, safe and have an improved quality of life.
Jane’s service will empower you to remain independent by providing advice, strategies and assistive equipment to ensure your home environment is safe while promoting your autonomy.
Jane instills the utmost trust in her clients - with her Occupational Therapy background, her knowledge, her experience and her bespoke service, Jane will assess your specific needs and as required, source the exact equipment for your needs and home environment and ensure it is fitted correctly.
Jane can visit you in your home to assess your needs. You can rent or buy quality equipment at a reasonable cost.
Jane prides herself on her holistic approach. Jane will assess your daily activities as a whole - her attitude is ‘all aspects of a person are important, with lateral thinking all problems can be improved’. She loves to know she is making a positive difference in people’s lives.
Jane grew up in a medical family in Hawkes Bay and has worked as an Occupational Therapist in Hawkes Bay for nearly 20 years. She consequently has a wide knowledge of the local health services available. If she can’t answer your questions or feels you will be more appropriately supported by an alternative service, she is very happy to direct you accordingly.
Do you have relatives or guests coming to stay who don’t want to bring their equipment with them?
We can provide a huge range of assistive equipment, (toilet seat raiser, toilet frame, walker, wheelchair, shower stool & many other items). We have a vast variety of equipment and daily living aids available to hire or buy.
Are you recovering from surgery?
We provide post-operative rehabilitation equipment for many types of surgery. We can assess your home & set up your living areas so you can recover as quickly and comfortably as possible.
