Teeth are important for chewing food in preparation for digestion. Whether you have your own teeth or dentures, it is important to keep them and your gums in good condition.

A build-up of plaque (a sticky, invisible film containing bacteria) can irritate and infect the gums resulting in loss of teeth. Regular brushing and flossing and an annual check with your dentist are the keys to good oral hygiene.
